It was during a songwriting session with Montréal-based music producer Connor Seidel that their creative synergy quickly became evident. This collaboration was the perfect pairing for LOV’s smoky, supple, and expressive voice as she shifted toward a more UK soul-inspired sound. Seidel, known for his work with acclaimed artists such as Charlotte Cardin, Half Moon Run, Leif Vollebekk, Katie Tupper, and more, brought his rich and polished production style to LOV’s musical vision. The result is a collection of crisp, calming, and elegant tracks—a mature and versatile blend that doesn’t shy away from turning up the heat.
LOV’s debut single “Matriarch” is the first of many singles leading up to her highly anticipated debut album, set to release in late 2025. Her music aims to empower listeners, reminding them of their place in the world and encouraging gratitude for life’s beautiful moments and everyday wonders.
